I, as a small business owner,
understand the importance of upfront pricing and estimates.
Not only do I provide these conveniences but I am also happy to
give you a free initial project consultation.
My hourly rate right now is a mere $22.00 per hour.
This rate is guaranteed as my highest rate until 2009.
This super low rate is far lower than the vast majority of my
competition yet I still provide the highest quality work that
only years of experience and a creative vision can provide.
Did you know many design firms charge upwards of
$80.00 per hour? I'm not kidding. Many
freelance developers/designers charge up to $40.00 per hour as
well.
And that's if they'll even tell you what they charge, as many
don't. Many will just give you an all-inclusive estimate
that doesn't tell you how many hours of work you're actually
paying for.
I'm not interested in getting rich,
so I don't do that. My main interest is to help small to
medium sized businesses in every way I can while doing what I
love (and making a fair living).
Keep a few things in mind while
shopping around:
- I will provide a copy of my
resume and qualifications if requested. Will the other
guys?
- I live and work in the USA,
in the state of Ohio.
I never outsource to another country just to get cheap
labor. If I need assistance with a large project, I make
sure to hire locally too. Can the other guys guarantee
that?
- I will provide my home phone
number, mailing address and Yahoo messenger ID to all
current clients if requested. Will the other guys?
- I pride myself on dealing
with clients honestly and ethically. I work hard to
make sure my clients get what they want and will sometimes
work free hours to make sure they are happy. Can the
other guys say that?
I didn't think
so.
